Frequently asked questions

Here are some of the most common questions we receive at Golden Tone Piano Studio. We hope these answers provide clarity and help you feel more comfortable taking the next step in your musical education.

How long does it take to see progress?

Most students notice progress within 2–4 weeks if they practise regularly. Small improvements, like smoother hand movement or better rhythm, happen quickly.

How long does it take to learn the piano?

It depends on your goals. • 3–6 months: play simple songs with two hands • 1 year: play intermediate pieces • 3–5 years: become a confident, advanced player Consistent practice is the key — even 15–20 minutes a day is enough to progress.

Am I too old to start learning piano?

No — never! Adults can learn just as successfully as children. In fact, adults often progress faster in the beginning because they can focus, understand instructions better, and practise more intentionally.

Can I learn piano if I have small or big hands?

Absolutely. Hand size does not limit your ability. Technique can be adjusted, and most music is written for normal hand spans.
